10 Seamless Grunge Textured Stripe Patterns
-
I've created 10 seamless stripes for you to go tiling crazy with. All the patterns are semi-transparent with different grunge textures. You can easily modify the colors and feel to fit your needs by opening the PSDs that are included.
These patterns may be used in both personal and commercial projects. Links are always appreciated but not required. You can share them by linking back to this article. Please do not upload these files anywhere else, or pass them off as your own. You can modify them as you wish!
I've included the patterns in PNG and PSD format. I've also included a Photoshop .pat file for you to easily install into your Photoshop patterns. If you need help doing so, take a look here. They are all at a decent resolution and size (900 x 900px).
All of the patterns are 900 x 900px, semi-transparent, and designed using shades of gray, allowing for you to easily modify their color, look, and feel. For those of you that are not 100% familiar on how to do so, I've included a quick tutorial in this article.
I hope you enjoy these! If you use them in a project, please let me know and we'll link to it in this article.

Modifying the Patterns
Modifying the colors, look, and feel of the patterns is quite easy. In my example psd files (included in the source), I applied a color overlay to both the striped layer as well as a pseudo background layer.
For the noobs out there; this is very easy to do. I'll walk you through an example real quick.
- Open up one of the png files included in the source.
- Create a new layer below the striped layer.
- Fill this layer with any color.
- With this layer selected, click the Layer Styles button at the bottom of your layers palette and choose Color Overlay.
- Make sure preview is checked. Click on the red box to bring up your color picker and choose a color. You'll notice your pattern changing colors.
- Repeat this process with the striped layer and that's it!
Final Thoughts
Keep in mind you can use layer blending options as well. If you have any problems, just ask. If you guys have requests for what types of freebies you're looking for, let us know and we'll do our best to oblige.
Thanks!

LarsOh man, this is great. Good textures are hard to come by (well, free ones at least, hehe). If you have any basic patterns like standard lines or dots etc.. that would be awesome to post those too…
