I did sound a bit harsh, apoligies for that, and of course Real Life always has the right of way.
Might be an idea to remove the article's references to part 2 and 3 and just surprise us one day?

As I've stated a few times already, I apologize for the delay in producing the second and third part to this series.

Since I've launched Noobcube, I've come across some major projects that have monopolized my time. These projects are a part of my livelihood, where as Noobcube doesn't generate any type of income. Unfortunately, this is real life, and in real life, money trumps hobby.

Once again, I'm sorry, and I promise to get these finished at the beginning of the new year.

I can't help but wondering about the impression this makes. Start something very promising but never finish it.

Came to your site from your Meerat plugin page and the posts here are really informative.
Would love to see the XHTML/CSS conversion part.....
Why not try doing it as a screencast when you find time!

Thanks

Once again, I apologize for the gap between parts, but I'm extremely busy at the moment. I promise I will get them out asap.

The focus here is that you take too long to release the other parts... people will lose interest imho.

Tim, I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's true, Photoshop can seem quite daunting when you first delve into it, but as long as you can pick up a technique or trick from a tutorial and then utilize it in future implementations, it gets easier and easier.

Thanks for the kind words.

Hi Jarod,

I've just started learning to use Photoshop for web design about a month ago and I've tried 7 or 8 of these tutorials around the web. I can honestly say yours seems the most complete and clear. And because there are literally NO gaps in your explanations and the images/font/icons being all easily available, I came away with a totally complete design for the first time. As daunting as Photoshop is for a beginner that is a great feeling.

Thanks so much.
