Why in the Demo of the version page number demo1.html does not remember some Cookies?

cookieExpires: 0
Does not work.

Made all as here.
Annoying page viewers is not a good idea.

It is necessary that the page has been closed yet will not close a browser.

I’m not quite sure I understand what issue you’re having, but I’ll assume that you are first viewing the splash page, once you click “Enter” it fades the splash page out. If you were to refresh your browser, you would see that the cookie has been set, therefore Meerkat does not appear, however, if you click “Demo 2″ again, I have it set to remove the cookie, then display Meerkat.

Hi,

I have created a jquery powered opt-in email form and used meerkat to make it pop out at from footer. I must say it is a very elegant and professionally looking solution. well done Jarod!!

The only problem i am having is to integrate meerkat with wordpress. It works on a static html page but not in wordpress. I am trying to integrate meerkat into wordpress but do not know where to start really. Any pointers are appreciated.

I am a developer coming from the ASP.NET field but have basic knowledge of PHP very limited of the wordpress architecture so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its there now, you can see the slide up and down at the bottom so its working, its just that adding that bit in on index page kills it.

Hi Jarod, give me 5 mins and I will upload. I will leave this bit out:

This is what is causing the problem somehow.

Just thought – I have put everything back to this part of the tutorial – ie where it says change index.
